MoviePass CEO Is Rebuilding the Failed Service With a New Focus

Things didn’t work out so well for MoviePass in its first incarnation, with its “all you can watch” model leading to the demise of the movie ticket service in 2019. Co-founder Stacy Spikes was gone at that point, fired the previous year by MoviePass’ then-owner, but now he’s back. Spikes bought the service in November in a bankruptcy auction, and he’s got a new vision for where it goes from here.
