The MacBook Pro 2020 is now available to buy, packing everything that made 2019’s 16-inch MacBook Pro great into a sleek 13-inch ultrabook design.
The keyboard arguably sees the most exciting upgrade, with Apple finally ditching the controversial butterfly switches in favour of the new scissor switches, resulting in deeper and more satisfying key presses.
Apple has also introduced the new Intel 10th Generation processors to the 13-inch MacBook range. However, you have to pay at least £1799 for this CPU refresh, which is an pleasant surprise given most Windows laptops feature 10th Gen chips for hundreds of pounds less. Buy the the £1299 base model instead, and you’ll be stuck with Intel’s outdated 8th Gen CPU.
