There are many competitors in the low-end space besides the no-name PC manufacturers. Well-known companies such as Lenovo also dabble in this space, which is evidenced by the existence of the IdeaPad 1 14IGL05. What this cryptic name tells us is that this is a 14-inch laptop from Lenovo’s cheapest consumer product series (IdeaPad 1), which features a Gemini Lake-based CPU from Intel.
The price of the IdeaPad 1 is very low. Our review device can be purchased for about 300 Euros. However, for this money, you will only get 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC internal memory. Moreover, the 14-inch notebook comes with an HD TN panel.
