Despite previous promises to protect personal information and huge privacy pushes including ad campaigns, it appears that not only has Apple been collecting data about you, this information can be used to identify you. Earlier in November 2022, software company Mysk took to Twitter to publicize what it called a “privacy concern” for millions of iPhone and Mac users after it found various data, from screen resolution to network connection, was being packaged up from users browsing the App Store and being sent to Apple.  Now, Mysk has found that users’ DSIDs are being shared with Apple in its data collection process, which involves an ID number that cannot be changed, directly relating to your account.
