The Texas tuner is now accepting orders for upgraded versions of the 2020 mid-engine Chevy Corvette.
Chevrolet’s C8 Corvette Stingray is just about to hit dealers, and at launch the only engine available is a naturally aspirated LT2 6.2-liter V-8. The coming ZR1 variant will likely use a twin-turbocharged version of the flat-plane-crank engine and can be expected to put out well over 800 horsepower. But Corvette fanatics who can’t be patient for the twin-turbo ZR1 can now turn to Texas tuning house Hennessey and place an order for a twin-turbo C8 Vette with up to 1200 horsepower.
