More power and extra equipment for Bavarian super-sedan
BMW Australia has already confirmed that when it arrives here in October, the new BMW M5 Competition ($229,900 plus on-road costs) will replace the $199,900 M5 Launch Edition released Down Under in April.
Now it has announced exactly what you’ll get for the extra $30,000 (the BMW M5 Competition still undercuts its chief rival, the $239,240 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S sedan, by $9340), apart from its ballistic 460kW/750Nm 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and extensive chassis upgrades.
