Ram is introducing the Ramcharger hybrid for the 2025 model year, and it’s carrying on the name of the original Dodge Ramcharger introduced in 1974 to compete against the Ford Bronco, Chevrolet K5 Blazer, and International Scout. The original Dodge Ramcharger was a relative hit, having sold over 13,000 copies for its first six years, despite the 1973 oil crisis. Unfortunately, Chrysler discontinued the Ramcharger in 1993, meaning this truck is out of the market for over 30 years.
