You wouldn’t be alone if you were expecting a crossover slotted between the Mazda CX-3 and CX-5 to be called the CX-4, but that is surprisingly not the case. Since there’s already a CX-4 in China, Mazda’s all-new compact crossover for Europe and North America is called the CX-30 and it looks like it’s heavily based on the all-new Mazda3 compact that debuted last year.
