Twin-turbo V8 flagship due in the fourth quarter, commanding a $2000 premium over the quad-turbo diesel M50d which was recently pulled from sale.
BMW Australia has confirmed the V8-powered X7 M50i xDrive will be launching Down Under during the fourth quarter, priced from $171,900 plus on-road costs.
Taking over performance flagship duties from the temporarily-discontinued M50d quad-turbo diesel, the M50i swaps out the boosted six-cylinder turbo-diesel for a stonking 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8developing 390kW (@5500-6000rpm) and 750Nm (@1800-4600rpm).
