Advanced safety tech is standard on all 2019 Toyota RAV4 models – and there’s a hybrid option for the first time – but the new generation costs more than before.
The new Toyota RAV4 arriving in showrooms this week has class-leading levels of standard safety technology – and the option of hybrid power for the first time – but the recommended retail price has risen by up to $1200 on certain models and drive-away pricing has increased by more than $3000 on some of the most popular variants.
The base model Toyota RAV4 GX 2.0-litre petrol with automatic transmission has been $32,990 drive-away for the past 12 months.
