The 2019 Nissan Altima needed a hook. It found two.
New this year, the 2019 Altima adds optional all-wheel drive and an optional high-po turbo-4 borrowed from Infiniti—except both can’t be had together.
That’s fine, and what’s left for buyers who don’t opt for either isn’t bad.
We give the mega-popular sedan a 6.3 for now. That score likely will rise once safety and fuel economy scores roll in. Watch this space.
