“The initial inspiration for Multiscapes came about while photographing in the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley,” the photographer Craig Colvin tells me. It was more than a decade ago, and he was taking a workshop with the fine art landscape photographer John Paul Caponigro.
