Spotify is embroiled in a controversy surrounding its endorsement of podcaster Joe Rogan. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, is the most popular show on the music streaming service, with the company buying the exclusive rights to distribute it for $100 million (around £73 million) back in 2020.  The controversy stems from allegations that Rogan’s podcast has spread misinformation around the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to a number of high-profile musicians removing their music from the platform.
