Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 With 48MP Sensor At Budget Smartphone Price Point

Xiaomi is getting everyone’s attention with the announcement of a 48MP smartphone that doesn’t cost the earth.

Xiaomi/Redmi might not be a smartphone brand you’re too familiar with but with the release of a budget-friendly 48MP smartphone, they could be a brand that very quickly becomes more well known.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features Sony’s IMX586 48-megapixel sensor which can also be found in the Honor View2048-megapixel smartphone.

A bit like Honor with Huawei, Redmi is the less expensive branch of the Xiaomi family and with the new Redmi Note 7, you get a 13MP selfie camera, 6.3-inch LCD display (2340×1080) and a 48MP f/1.8 rear camera with a 5MP f/1.4 depth sensor for creating bokeh and other depth effects (several AI and a beauty mode are also built in). Video can be captured at 1080p (30,60 and 120fps).
