Nubia M2 Lite review: Enough to create a buzz

India is among the most price-sensitive smartphone markets globally. The cost plays an important role in the brand’s sales numbers in the country. This is one reason that smartphone brand Nubia, which for now has limited offerings in the entry-level segment, is still struggling to gain a foothold in India. In past few months, the company, which is a sub-brand of Chinese tech firm ZTE, has launched some mid-range and upper-mid range smartphones. One of these the Nubia M2 Lite smartphone.

Launched recently, the smartphone is Nubia’s another shot in the highly-competitive lower-mid segment. Given the price tag of Rs 13,999/$217, the handset rivals offerings from Motorola and other Chinese brands such as Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi.

At the smartphone’s launch the handset maker said that the M2 Lite is youth-oriented because of its mix of beauty and performance. Although the Nubia M2 Lite specifications and features look convincing on paper, we gave it a try in real life by testing it for over a week. And here’s what we think about it.
