Google Pixel XL vs Pixel: What’s the difference?

Google has announced two new smartphones at its 4 October event, in the form of the Pixel XL and Pixel. The two new smartphones see Google move away from Nexus branding, using the manufacturer, thought to be HTC, as a contractor rather than a partner.

The “Made by Google” smartphones bring a premium design, coupled with flagships specs and they will be available from 20 October with a starting price of £599/$649.

This is how the Google Pixel XL and the Google Pixel compare. Which one will you opt for?

The majority of the rumours point towards HTC manufacturing both the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, though neither Google or HTC have confirmed this and there is no manufacturer branding to be seen other than a “G” at the bottom of each device on the rear.
