Panasonic GH6 firmware update adds BRAW recording to Blackmagic Video Assist recorders, 120p HDMI output

Panasonic has a history of adding features to its video-oriented cameras through firmware updates, and it’s back with another one, this time for the GH6. GH6 firmware v2.3 adds the ability to capture BRAW format to a Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR recorder over HDMI. It supports 12-bit BRAW at resolutions up to 5.7K as well as anamorphic capture. Additionally, the new firmware adds the ability to output DCI (cinema) 4K or UHD 4K video at up to 120fps
