Microsoft rolled out the Windows 11 update in 2021 and made it free for most Windows 10 users. Those operating a Windows 8 had to upgrade to Windows 10 to receive the free 11 upgrade. Although the changes were subtle, the Windows 11 update had new features worth checking out.
