FTC looking to block Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition

While rumoured for some time now, the FTC (U.S. Federal Trade Commission) has issued a press release indicating that it is seeking to block Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.Estimated reading time: 3 minutesAnnounced earlier this year, Microsoft plans to acquire Activision Blizzard, publisher of games such as Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo for a whopping $69 billion.
