The Arlo Essential was created to be the answer to crappy security cameras that can’t “see” clearly in the dark. To achieve this, Arlo added a spotlight and color night vision to the Essential. Since nighttime is prime time when it comes to security filming, this was a bright idea that we’re surprised more outdoor video security cameras don’t focus on.
