Don’t mess with Texas.
It’s a trite aphorism at this point — and it in no way reflects the present state of the Longhorn football program. But in the truck world, it’s a golden rule. Texas is the epicenter of all things pickup — including menacing bumper stickers and unfortunate suspension lifts — and as it turns out, Ford sells about 20 percent of all its F-Series trucks there.
