470-HP 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Hits 60 MPH in 4.0 Seconds

The 5259-pound Jeep riding on 35-inch all-terrain tires raced through the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds at 104 mph.

The newfound rivalry between the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco is heating up. Jeep announced that it was stuffing a 470-hp 6.4-liter V-8 into the Wrangler on the same day Ford revealed the 2021 Bronco, and more recently, Jeep added an available Xtreme Recon package that adds 35-inch tires and a 1.5-inch lift to the Wrangler to target the Bronco’s available Sasquatch package. But we’ll let the numbers talk for themselves, because we just tested the Wrangler 392 with the Xtreme Recon package and it should make the upcoming high-performance Bronco Raptor nervous.
