Testing the Core i7-1195G7: Is Intel’s New Top ‘Tiger Lake’ CPU Worth It for Your Next Laptop?

At the virtual Computex 2021, Intel announced a supplemental line of mobile CPUs for its then-current family of “Tiger Lake-U” mobile chips, designed for mainstream and ultralight laptops. Dubbed the “Tiger Lake-U Refresh,” these add-ons to the existing line are headed by a new top-end flagship CPU, the Core i7-1195G7. (The former head of the line was the Core i7-1185G7.)
