Final Fantasy 14 has been steadily going strong since its A Realm Reborn relaunch in 2013, but the MMORPG is now seeing a huge surge in its player base ahead of the release of the game’s fourth expansion, Endwalker.
Previously, Final Fantasy 14’s third expansion, Shadowbringers, represented a watershed moment for the game, but the player base has continued to grow exponentially since then, and shows no sign of slowing down ahead of the upcoming launch of Endwalker.
Due to release in November 2021, Endwalker looks to wrap up all the major plot threads that have been evolving since A Realm Reborn and even beforehand. We’ll be visiting a handful of enchanting new locales, as always, but we’ll also be leaving the star and heading for the moon.
