BMW 8 Series Heritage Edition on its way

Exclusive special-editions are actually $15,000 more affordable than donor 840i models

A strictly limited batch of just nine 2021 BMW 8 Series Heritage Edition cars are heading to Australia in the fourth quarter of this year, paying homage to the first BMW 8 Series grand tourer that launched here 30 years ago.

Based on the 840i grade and available in coupe, convertible and sedan (Gran Coupe) body style, the Heritage Edition models are actually priced $15,000 less than the equivalent model on which they’re based, despite exclusive features such as a unique paint/full-leather upholstery combination.
