Here’s what the electric interpretation of Mercedes-Benz’s iconic off-roader could look like.

The iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class off-road four-wheel drive will go electric in the coming years, likely wearing the Mercedes-Benz EQG moniker – but what might it look like?

These renderings from Instagram user @sugardesign_1 – believed to be an official Alfa Romeo designer, working on the facelifted Giulia sedan due in 2022 – attempt to imagine the new EQG, combining cues from Mercedes-Benz’s EQ models with the petrol-powered G-Class’s legendary shape.
