Asking prices for final V8 ’Cruiser hit almost $200K as search volume rises and supplies dry up ahead of new 300 Series

Dwindling supplies and unprecedented demand for the 13-year-old Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series is driving record asking prices ahead of the arrival of the all-new 300 Series later this year.

The 2022 Toyota LandCruiser is expected to be six-cylinder only and powered by a Mazda-sourced 3.3-litre inline-six turbo-diesel when it arrives Down Under in late 2021, making the outgoing 200 Series the last V8 LandCruiser SUV.
