2021 Hyundai Nexo Review

The 2021 Hyundai Nexo is currently the only SUV/crossover powered by a fuel cell. It runs on hydrogen and the only thing to come out of the tailpipe is water vapor.

Maximum range is 380 miles and Hyundai says a full replenishment of the Nexo’s three hydrogen tanks takes just five minutes. The thing is, the 2021 Nexo is only available in California.

There’s a school of thought that hydrogen is the fuel of the future, but the supply infrastructure is still in its infancy. And even that description could be generous.
