The Droid Turbo 2 is the first smartphone I’ve ever used that turns what used to be panic into borderline glee. A Verizon exclusive, this handset ($624, or $26 per month) boasts a shatterproof display with five layers of protection. So when the Droid Turbo 2 slips out your hand and slams onto the street, tile or concrete, you’ll just laugh it off instead of cringe.

The Turbo 2 has some other things going for it, too, including a design you can customize online and the fastest battery charging we’ve seen yet. We just wished that Verizon didn’t include so much bloatware.
