2021 Mazda CX-5 Review

We like the CX-5. Mazda’s 5-seat crossover, one step in size above the new CX-30, is a versatile SUV, yet it’s totally fun to drive. And when you order the turbocharged engine, this Mazda SUV really scoots.

Despite its fairly taut suspension and sportier handling manners than the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the 2021 Mazda CX-5 is a pleasant everyday driver. While the Subaru Forester and Jeep Cherokee are better suited for muddy dirt roads, the CX-5, when equipped with all-wheel drive, does better on the dirt than you might expect.
