Dell Precision 5550 Workstation Review: The XPS 15 For Professionals

Powered by Nvidia Quadro. While traditional workstation laptops like the Precision 7550 will never be replaced, there is growing demand for stylish ultra-thin workstations as well. The Precision 5550 swaps out the GeForce GPUs in the XPS 15 9500 for TUring Quadro GPUs to appeal to professional audiences.

Much like how the Precision 5540 is the workstation version of the consumer XPS 15 7590, the new Precision 5550 is the workstation version of the XPS 15 9500. The latest model is a full chassis update over the last generation Precision 5540 with essentially the same visual design and features as the XPS 15 9500.
