Huawei Y5p Smartphone Review – Compact Phone with Deprivation

Is a single camera enough? Even if it looks like more: the large camera module of the Huawei Y5p contains only one lens. This is acceptable at a very reasonable price, but you also have to get used to the missing Google services and the wide display edges. Is it still enough for a purchase recommendation?

Huawei would like to have just over 100 euros for the Y5p. In view of the low price, the Chinese have made a surprisingly big effort with the case: Of course, there is no aluminum or high quality gorilla glass on the back, but instead a fairly stable plastic back with a pattern in concentric circles that emanate from the camera module and refract the light, so that the device looks chic. There should also be something for everybody in terms of colors: simple black, a little more unusual dark blue or provocative mint green.
