2020 Kia Optima vs. 2020 Hyundai Sonata: Which Is Better?

The Hyundai Sonata and the Kia Optima are normally very similar, mechanically, but it’s a different story for 2020. The Sonata entered an all-new generation for 2020, and it’s so good that it’s on our Best New Cars for 2020 list. The Optima, however, is still in the same generation that it’s been in since 2016. An all-new Optima sharing the new Sonata’s platform is on the way for the 2021 model year, but the 2020 model still has a lot to offer.
