The new version of the Acer Predator 500 is the first laptop in our editorial department with Nvidia’s freshest high-end GPU, the GeForce RTX 2080 Super. More precisely, the energy-efficient Max-Q edition.
Just so you know: You shouldn’t expect a big performance boost from the Super GPUs. As our review of the Predator Triton 500 showed, the GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q often only sprints past its predecessor in a marginal way. No wonder, as the technical changes and improvements are rather limited.
