We still have unfinished business with the upcoming Zen 2 CPUs – there is no comparison with Comet Lake from our side. The 4800U has a 15W TDP and we saw that the 10th gen Ice Lake CPU like i7-1065G7 doesn’t stand a chance when its compared to a ULV Zen 2 processor.
If we look at the current Intel mobile lineup we can spot that there is another one worthy competitor for 4800U – i7-10710U. That’s right, until now, we compared the Zen 2 CPUs with Coffee Lake and Ice Lake CPUs but somehow Comet Lake was out of our sight. The i7-10710U has more cores and threads than its Ice Lake sibling (i7-1065G7) and maybe it’ll be close to 4800U? Maybe, let’s check it.
