2020 BMW Alpina B7 Is a Better 7-Series

BMW’s tuning house builds a 7-series that’s familiar yet faster than ever.

We can’t yet verify the claimed 205-mph top speed of the 2020 Alpina B7, the latest iteration of the BMW 7-series to be substantially modified by the longstanding German tuning house. Trust us, we tried. But an indicated 186 mph was the most that traffic would allow on the unrestricted stretches of autobahn outside Munich. Still, the strength with which the updated B7 continued to pull at that velocity left us with little reason to doubt it as not only the fastest production sedan you can currently buy, but as the best BMW 7-series.
