During the time the United States was a major watch-producing nation, Waltham was one of the country’s most significant and prolific watchmakers. Enthusiasts probably most associate the company with its pocket watches, which often contained high-quality, beautifully decorated movements. The company, however, naturally shifted production as mens watches migrated to the wrist, and made a range of sport and dress models over the years. Waltham stopped producing watches in the US in 1957 and moved to Switzerland, and it’s watches from this era that you’ll find below.
