As you may already know, Acer announced its Nitro 5 refresh coming in two sizes – 15″ (AN515-54) and 17″ (AN517-51). These are mid-rangers but they’re equipped with some high-end features like 144 Hz IPS screen, 2x M.2 PCIe x4 NVMe slots with RAID 0 support and beautiful design with narrow bezels.

What we miss are the SD card reader and Thunderbolt 3 support – there is a USB Type-C port but it’s actually a 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1). Also, the body is made entirely of plastic.
