The Amazfit activity tracker lives up to its promise of being simple to use and lovely to look at while remaining affordable. It’s clear the team has taken the time to carefully craft a discrete, fashionable device. Where it fails however, is execution. Sleep tracking is confusing and inaccurate. The app remains woefully buggy and takes far too long to sync. Then there’s the huge issue of losing all the data when recharging after the Amazfit’s completely died. All this can hopefully be a relatively quick and easy fix, or at least an update over time. For now the Amazfit is at best, a very promising, fancy pedometer that works – if you don’t care about missing data and a slew of other issues.
