Anyone who has used a smartphone that has a fingerprint scanner like the new iPhone devices knows how convenient it is to be able to scan a finger to gain access to your smartphone or to make a purchase online. Fingerprint scanners are one of those features that many smartphone buyers now expect to see on their new devices.

A new smartphone from Motorola have leaked ahead of their official unveil and from what we can tell from the images, the fingerprint scanner is not built in. The smartphone could be named Moto X Force with a code name Bounce.

Word is that the Moto X Force will have a 5.42-inch QHD display, MSM8994 chipset, and 32 or 64GB of storage. The rear camera is tipped to be a 21MP unit with a 5MP front camera. Power comes from a 3760mah internal battery and the phone is billed as shatterproof with a ship date sometime in December.
