With only a few more days left before the final Unpacked event, Samsung hype for the Galaxy Note 5 reaches a fever pitch. Today we’re having a near-final look at what the device will bring to the world of hard-working smartphones in a large-screen fashion. Expect the S Pen to make a glorious return with new features that trump previous releases while the king of large smartphones holds sway over the rest of the Android world here in the USA and internationally.

While the Galaxy S6 has benefitted from a variety of cross-promotion features due to the launch of the newest Avengers film not long after the device, the Galaxy Note 5 will need to rely more on its own ways and means. Until the DVD and Blu-ray packages are out. We’ll expect fewer colors released with this device than Samsung’s hero S6.

Below you’ll find a collection of specifications gathered over the past several weeks through anonymous sources, leaks, and rumors. Do not trust ANYONE on a full list of specifications until Samsung releases their own!

Galaxy Note 5
• Display: 5.66-inch 1440×2560 pixel Super AMOLED (519 PPI)
• Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or Samsung Exynos 7422, an updated version of the processor found in the Galaxy S6
• RAM: 4GB
• Internal Storage: 32, 64, 128GB
• Expandable Storage: n/a
• Battery: 3000 mAh
• Back Camera: 16-megapixels (similar/same sensor as Galaxy S6), 1080p 60fps video, 4k video
• Front Camera: 5-megapixels, 120-degree wide-angle lens, 1080p video

This device will have MHL 3 in its microUSB port, meaning you’ll once again be able to use MHL converter cables to send video out to your TV. You’ll also be able to use Chromecast abilities, but this device is a workhorse – cords forever!

Inside you’ll also find an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, gesture recognition (more on this when we hear more), barometer, UV sensor, heart rate sensor (via the back near the flash), and SpO2.

This device MAY have a smaller battery than reported above due to Samsung’s inclusion of Quick Charge 2.0 here like the Galaxy S6.
