the drones are a really popular hobby among people of all ages; a ton of people dream of flying, and this is the closest thing they’ll get to actually flying, well, not anymore; now we have the FPV glasses, with these you’ll be able to see the point of view of the drone, so It’s like you’re actually flying yourself. iF you haven’t guessed it by now, we’re here to talk about a quite interesting set of FPV glasses, the Aomway Goggles V1; they’re not a renowned brand in FPV glasses industry, but that doesn’t mean we can underestimate them, we might actually get a couple of surprises from this particular headset, but enough talking, let’s get right into it.

Design

Aomway VR Goggles V1

In comparison with others VR Glasses, the Aomway Glasses V1 does not have a particularly striking design which captivates the attention of the common user. Unlike other VR glasses which have in its design a mix of colors or predominant light colors, the Aomway Goggles V1 are made entirely in black, with the logo of the company on its front side. So, if you are looking for a VR glasses by design, maybe the Aomway Goggles V1 will disappoint you.

Performance

In this kind of devices, the resolution means pretty much everything, the resolution is what will allow you to enjoy the experience to the fullest; of course, the higher the resolution, the higher the price, but the thing is that the Aomway Goggles V1 have a really decent resolution for a really good price; they count with an 800 x 480 resolution.

With this little bad boy we’ll also be able to adjust the contrast to our liking; also, we have a brightness of about 300cd per square meter and let’s not forget about the 5 inches screen. And as for the video format, we have NSTC / PAL.

Let’s not forget that these glasses allow us to adjust the audio, which is something we’re thankful for.

Battery

These glasses provide us with a really nice autonomy; we’re talking about 30 – 60 minutes of autonomy, which is quite a lot if we take into account that the battery life of a drone is not particularly high.

It works with a voltage of 7 – 17 V and the battery consumption is around the 300 mAh.

About its charge, the charge speed is not so good, you need to charge it for about 2-3 hours for recharge all the battery. If you will go to some place away from the city, you should consider buy a car charger or a power bank for keep enjoying the travel with your Aomway Googgles V1.

Connectivity

 Aomway VR Goggles V1

This kind of glasses tend to be quite expensive, and of course, a good quality product tends to be quite pricey, but this isn’t the case, the Aomway Goggles V1 and it’s an incredible offer for the price they’re asking for.

Also, being able to see the sky from a drone’s point of view it’s kind of like a dream come true, and the best part is that it’s perfectly affordable. We really like these FPV Glasses and if you’re looking for a good and affordable option then we highly recommend the Aomway Goggles V1.

It has some lacks, such as design, battery charge, there’s also another VR glasses such as the Xiaozhai Bobo VR Z4 with more and better features, but we hope that in future, a new Aomway Googles V1 (Maybe an Aomway Googles V2) can improve these lacks and add more features.
