Xiaomi Redmi 4 VS Meizu M5 Comparisons Review

Recently, Meizu and Xiaomi both released entry smartphone below $150, they are Meizu M5 and Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, the Redmi 4 and Meizu M5 sell at the similar price and they both support fingerprint scanner. So which one is better, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Meizu M5?

Specs Comparison

Redmi 4 is powered by Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 625 Octa core processor, its performance is more powerful than MT6750 processor, the main advantage of Redmi 4 is the Snapdragon 625 which is similar to the processor that these high-end smartphones such as OPPO R9S, Huawei Nova, Nubia Z11 MiniS use. So Redmi 4 is the cheapest Snapdragon 625 smartphone. So in terms of processor, Meizu M5 can not be the rival of Redmi 4, especially advanced version.

Best cheap smartwatches : Pebble, Sony, Samsung and more

So your wallet can’t stretch to an Apple Watch Series 2 or a Samsung Gear S3, don’t fret, there’s plenty of other smartwatches you can grab without breaking the bank.

It feels like barely a week goes by without a new smartwatchappearing on the market, and one of the benefits of this high churn rate is that you can often pick up older hardware for decent prices.

If you head over to Amazon, you can pick up a host of smartwatches for as little as $15, but take it from us, they are awful. We tested a bunch of cheap smartwatches to give you an idea what you’d be dealing with.

What we have below is our hand-picked list of recommended smartwatches, which enables you to save a few dollars/quid/clams. They’re not the cheapest, but they are the bona fide deals we definitely feel comfortable recommending.

Luxafor Flag Review

Image result for Luxafor Flag

When you’re working with colleagues in an open office space, it can be really difficult to go “heads down” and get work done. Even if you strap on some headphones and play music to drown out ambient noise, your co-workers may still walk over and try to speak with you.

The $28 Luxafor Flag offers a unique and compelling way to let others know you don’t want to be disturbed. Made by a Latvian company named Greynut, this small USB light attaches to the back of your laptop lid or to the side of your monitor and lights up red, green or one of several other colors. This signal lets your office mates know whether you have time for them. I used the device for several weeks in our open-area news room, and found that, while the Luxafor Flag gets the message across, people often ignore it.

Honda Civic RS v Hyundai Elantra SR Turbo comparison

It was only July when the Honda Civic VTi-S outshone both the Skoda Octavia Ambition and Hyundai Elantra Active. Here though, we have just two rivals going head-to-head: the 2016 Honda Civic RS and 2017 Hyundai Elantra SR Turbo. And, based on their most recent individual reviews – the Civic RS scoring 8/10 from Mike Costello, the Elantra SR Turbo scoring the same from Matt Campbell – this has the potential to be a rather close-fought little battle.

Honda Civic RS v Hyundai Elantra SR Turbo comparison

The cars

Intended to be the sportiest 10th-generation Honda Civic sedan model currently available, the 2016 Honda Civic RS is sharply styled and sharply packaged.

In a notable departure for the Japanese brand, it also teams a familiar front-wheel-drive layout with a brand-new turbocharged engine.

Best Outdoor Speakers 2016

For many of us, summertime means sitting outside with the wind in our faces, the barbecue cranking out great food and our music setup pumping out the best tunes. On that last point, it’s imperative that you pick an outdoor speaker that not only works for your patio or backyard but also gives you great sound at a fair price.

Our top pick overall is the Acoustic Research Hatteras ($219), which combines quality audio and an attractive design for a good price. If you’re on a budget, the Yamaha NS-AW390 delivers excellent sound for under $100. But there are plenty of great options out there — ranging from wireless Bluetooth setups, to speakers mounted up high, to units that can blend seamlessly into your garden — so make sure you select the one that’s right for you.

Sony PlayStation 4 Pro review: Worth buying on day one?

When Sony announced the PS4 Pro it drew many a gasp of breath. Not because of its faster central and graphics processing, but more for its timing. This was the machine many expected to be pitched against Microsoft’s Project Scorpio, a 4K gaming powerhouse due at the end of 2017. But Sony’s revelation was that its mid-generation upgrade would be coming in 2016 – just in time for Christmas.

Sony has seemingly adopted a mobile phone-style business plan – something that is likely to become the norm, we were told by a PlayStation executive during its New York launch event. Instead of waiting for a PlayStation 5 in 2020 (based on a usual seven-year cycle) we’ll get mid-cycle updates.

So where does that leave us? Is the PS4 Pro worthy of an upgrade so soon after the original console launched? Are its beefier bowels worth the extra wonga on day one?

2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE First Drive: Best of both worlds

What do you do when you’ve got access to one of the deepest performance parts bins in the industry? If you’re Chevrolet, you find yet another way to build a Camaro that can take it straight to the throat of rivals from Ford (the Mustang) and Dodge (the Challenger), and then present it to rabid buyers in the form of the surprisingly affordable 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE.

Even casual muscle car fans are likely familiar with those three characters appended to the Camaro’s name, as the 1LE badge was revived for the fifth-generation version of the coupe that preceded the 2017 model after lying dormant for close to a decade. Originally inspired by a desire to dominate stock-class professional road racing in the 1980s, the 1LE promised a street-legal handling package that added substantial handling chops to a platform that was typically lauded more for its straight-line speed than its ability to go ’round a bend.

NINTENDO NES CLASSIC EDITION REVIEW

Nintendo has always held its game library close to its chest. For years fans have been forced to buy new Nintendo consoles to play both the newest entries the company’s beloved franchises, and the classic games of its past. Nintendo has finally loosened its grip a little bit, offering Nintendo fans a more affordable way to access its some of its NES canon without buying a Wii U or 3DS. The NES Classic Edition is a small machine that lets you play 30 NES games on modern TVs.

nes-classic_ho_feat-2-800x533-c

I say “machine” and not “computer,” because, for many, the word computer carries certain expectations: The NES Classic Edition does not connect to the internet. There is no authorized way to upgrade its hardware, buy games through it, or in any way alter it.

Canon is rumored to unveil new entry-level products in the beginning of 2017. Canon Rebel T7s and Rebel T7i are the next DSLRs on the horizon.

These models will be the replacements for the current EOS Rebel T6s and EOS Rebel T6icameras. The enthusiastic users are also waiting for the EOS 150D, also known as Rebel SL2. There is currently no information for a direct replacement for the EOS Rebel Sl1.

Either way, some details about the Rebel T7s and Rebel T7i cameras are circulating within the gossip mill. The latest information is suggesting that the Japan-based company will launch new models at the beginning of next year.

Casio G-Shock Master Of G Gulfmaster GWNQ1000-1A Watch Review

The Casio G-Shock “Master of G” Gulfmaster collection is unique for a few interesting reasons. Sort of a dive watch, and sort of a hardcore marine-themed watch, what further separates the Gulfmaster collection from other G-Shock models is actually how they look. Before going more into this Casio G-Shock Master Of G Gulfmaster GWNQ1000-1A reference watch, let’s talk a bit about what the upper echelon of G-Shock watches is all about.

casio-g-shock-master-of-g-gulfmaster-gwn-q1000-1a-ablogtowatch-01

Casio G-Shock fans tend to begin their collecting obsession with relatively inexpensive models typically costing under $200. Many stay there, but the brave ones who truly appreciate the mastery of what a G-Shock watch can do eventually embark on the fascinating road of what I’ll call “high-end G-Shock.” To many active professionals or serious adventure seekers, these higher-end G-Shock watches represent “the perfect watch.” Compared to a high-end Swiss timepiece they are a bargain – especially given the Premium Production Line (PPL) “lab” where they are assembled in Japan (which we discussed in detail in our visit to the G-Shock headquarters in Japan here). With that said, many of these better models approach the $1,000 price tag or exceed it.

ZTE Blade V7 Lite review

The cheaper companion to the flagship ZTE Blade V7, the V7 Lite sports a different design and weaker internals, but also comes with a much lower price point – £149.99/$224.99.

For that modest outlay you get a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable via microSD card), a fingerprint scanner and a 2,500mAh battery, all wrapped up in a premium metal shell.

But competition is steep, especially in the crowded entry-level market, with phones like the Moto G4 providing a lot of handset for not a lot of money, so does the ZTE Blade V7 Lite’s beauty run more than skin deep?

Wharfedale Diamond A2 review

Not many floorstanders can claim to stand on their own two feet (well, in this case four) quite as independently as the Wharfedale Diamond A2 speakers.

With built-in amplification, these powered speakers could be considered as a just-add-a-source hi-fi system – a compact and practical substitute for the multiple boxes and racks that make up a room-hogging set-up of separates.

Only an ashtray-sized control hub, the H1, stands in the way of total autonomy. It’s what your sources connect to, via the hub’s coaxial, optical or RCA inputs, or aptX Bluetooth.

The H1 then wirelessly sends the music signal to the speakers solely over the 5.8GHz frequency band – avoiding the often-crowded 2.4GHz frequency for supposedly less interference.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Rumors : What Features to Expect

Samsung’s Galaxy lineup got off to a great start in 2016, when the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge won rave reviews across the board, and it seemed like the phone maker’s momentum was going to continue with the Galaxy Note 7 — right up until multiple reports of that phone exploding forced two seaparate recalls and ultimately a halt to production.

Suffice to say that Samsung needs a win to earn back consumer trust, and next year’s Galaxy S8 is going to have to be the phone to do it. From a possible 4K display and dual cameras to other rumored features, here’s everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Latest News and Rumors

According to a report in Bloomberg on Nov 5, the Galaxy S8 will come with AI-enabled features that will be “significantly differentiated” from Apple’s Siri or the Google Assistant. This comes after Samsung purchased Viv labs, whose founder helped create the original Siri.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace S vs. 2017 Porsche Macan GTS – Comparison Tests

Jaguar and Porsche prove that an elevated center of gravity and a mainstream mission need not preclude a serious sense of fun.

In an industry that lives and dies by the sales of Camrys and pickup trucks, advocating for enthusiasts sometimes feels like standing in a raging river and shouting at it to reverse course. Manual transmissions are slipping toward oblivion. Fuel-economy regulations are driving diversity from manufacturers’ engine portfolios, replacing it with efficient homogeneity. And perhaps most worrying is the proliferation of crossovers. They’re like an algal bloom threatening to choke out all other life-forms in the interest of easy ingress and a commanding driver’s position.

But a few shafts of light have started to pierce the heavy blanket of crossover conformity. Porsche’s first glimmer of hope, the Cayenne, dates to before most people realized the market potential of a high-performance crossover. In its first year on the market, the Cayenne became Porsche’s best-selling model. The creators of the Pink Pig learned lessons from their new 5000-pound supersow, and the smaller, Audi Q5–based Macan has already dethroned the Cayenne as the brand’s sales leader. The example tested here is the new-for-2017 GTS, which splits the difference between the $55,450, 340-hp S model and the $77,050, 400-horse Turbo.

Huawei Mate 9 vs Xiaomi Mi Note 2 vs Xiaomi MI MIX Comparisons Review

Recently, Huawei has released the year-end flagship smartphone, Huawei Mate 9, so does Xiaomi, which has also announced the flagship smartphone, Xiaomi MI Note 2 and Xiaomi MI MIX, they have similar specs but different price, so what’s difference among Huawei Mate 9 and Xiaomi MI Note 2 and Xiaomi MI MIX.

Right now more and more smartphones sport larger screen, Huawei Mate 9 is no exception, it uses 5.9inch 1080P screen with high screen-to-body ration, and its Porsche design version uses 5.5inch 2K screen, on the back, it adopts dual rear Leica camera, one is 20MP with 54mm focusing, and the other is 12MP with wide viewing angle. By switching two cameras, it can reach 2 times zooming, in addition, there are flash light and laser focus module on the right and left side. It’s worthwhile to praise that Huawei Mate 9 Porsche version has used the curved 3D screen with nice grip feeling. Nikon Coolpix B500 Review

Introduction

The Nikon Coolpix B500 is a bridge camera with a 16 megapixel sensor, which is paired with a 40x optical zoom. You can also activate a digital zoom up to 80x. It offers a range of shooting modes, but there’s no manual control, and it can’t shoot in raw format. As such, the intended target audience is beginners and possibly enthusiasts looking for a simple backup or travel camera. Like many of Nikon’s most recent cameras, it features SnapBridge technology, which allows you to maintain a constant Bluetooth link with your smartphone to send images across as you take them, ready to share on social networking sites and the like. Other interesting features include a 3.0-inch tilting screen, which features a 921k-dot resolution, inbuilt Wi-Fi and Full HD video recording. The Nikon Coolpix B500 retails for $299 / £219.

Hands on: Cenovo King Kong Mini PC review

Sometimes, you do wonder what motivates Chinese manufacturers to adopt frankly risible names for their products. Perhaps an attempt to differentiate themselves from the rest of the competition or, more often than not, sheer bad luck.

2016-new-cenovo-kingkong-mini-pc-intel-cherry-z8300-quad-core-windows-10-tv-box-4gb

Take the Cenovo King Kong Mini PC – other than the company’s name (and logo) being dangerously close to Lenovo, the fact that its product is called King Kong will likely provoke hilarity amongst system buyers.

The King Kong is certainly not a bad piece of kit though, with a design that reminds us of the Logitech ConferenceCam. It’s actually a well thought out device, offering some nifty features that differentiate it from the rest of the competition at this price point.

UMi Diamond vs Ulefone Tiger vs Elephone S7 Mini Review – Three mid-range mobiles that compete for the first place!

Umi, Ulefone and Elephone are 3 companies very well known especially for their mid-range mobiles that announce. All three companies only very recently released 3 new mid-range mobiles, Umi Diamond, Ulefone Tiger and Elephone S7 Mini, with a price less than 150$, a price that many users don’t want to surpass when there are searching for a new mobile. Also for all shipping starts near the end of the month-beginning of the next, I believe is a good time to see what present you could do to your self or friends if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and again get the best use of your money spend on a mobile.

Best MacBook Pro Alternatives

The new MacBook Pro has some actual pros up in arms. With only two USB Type-C ports on the base model (four on the Touch Bar model), no SD card slot, the end of MagSafe charging, an older 6th Generation Intel CPU and a $1,499 starting price, some Apple lovers are considering alternatives.

In our 13-inch MacBook Pro review, we said that we really like its beautiful display, improved butterfly keyboard, louder speakers and long battery life. That’s why we awarded it 4 out of 5 stars. But if you’re looking to dip your toes into the Windows 10 waters for a truly Pro machine, here are the best options:

Dell XPS 13

Our favorite overall laptop now has Intel’s 7th Generation Kaby Lake CPU, and should be considered seriously by anyone in the market for a new laptop. At 12 x 7.9 x 0.6 inches, it’s thicker than the superthin MacBook Pro, but you’ll get two USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, an SD card slot and your choice of either full-HD nontouch or QHD+ touch screen options with virtually no bezel around its beautiful Infinity Edge display.

Samsung Gear Fit2 v Fitbit Charge 2 : Which fitness tracker is best for you?

Both the Samsung Gear Fit2 and Fitbit Charge 2 are well rounded fitness trackers with a few flaws sprinkled in here and there. The first Gear Fit was beastly and lacked a few needed features which the newer Fit2 has greatly improved on. The same can be said for the updated Charge.

That’s why it’s a difficult decision choosing one over the other. But when it comes down to it, there can only be one – unless you’re cool with wearing a tracker on each wrist. Based on overall design, features, battery life and of course, price, this is how Samsung’s device stacks up against Fitbit’s.

Gear Fit2 vs Charge 2: Design and comfort

Samsung Gear Fit2 vs Fitbit Charge 2: Which fitness tracker is best for you?

The Charge 2 and Gear Fit2 have a similar sporty design but the Samsung tracker has a noticeably larger AMOLED screen. This helps with the vibrant colors and touchscreen which isn’t found on the Fitbit. Rather, the Charge 2 has a black and white OLED screen and uses a tapping feature instead of a touchscreen. You’ll also rely on the side buttons of both devices to navigate the interface.

Acer Chromebook R 13 Review

The big knock against Chromebooks — the light, minimal alternative to MacBooks and PC laptops — is that their software options are limited. The Acer Chromebook R 13 is one of the first notebooks to avoid that problem, as it offers (beta) support for the Android apps in the Google Play store. On top of that, it has long battery life, a comfy keyboard and an aluminum design that’s quite slick for a $399 machine. As long as you don’t need a lot of processing power, the Chromebook R 13 is a great choice.

Design

The Acer Chromebook R 13’s aluminum chassis gives it an eye-catching look that made one of my co-workers mistake it for a MacBook Pro. Its 1080p display rotates to laptop, display, tent and tablet positions on a pair of hinges that offer enough tightness to keep it stable.

Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones review

When you have one of the best-selling wireless earphones in the world, what do you do for an encore?

beats-powerbeats-3-wireless-07

Well, the safest choice would be to make some small but not insignificant changes — tweak around the edges so to speak — but mainly leave what got you to the top alone. And that’s exactly what Beats has done with the Powerbeats3 Wireless, the latest iteration of its uberpopular Bluetooth sports headphone.

As you can see from looking at it, the core Powerbeats design has remained intact, and the Powerbeats3 Wireless looks a lot like the Powerbeats2 Wireless — and not surprisingly its list price is the same ($200/£170/AU$260). It’s available in black, white, siren red, shock yellow and flash blue. And like the previous model, they’ll still hold up to sweat and rain — just don’t expect them to survive a full-on dunking in water.

HP Elite x3 review

There’s no doubting it: the HP Elite x3 is a capable smartphone. It’s packed with high performance hardware that positions it in the same pack as industry leaders, like the LG V20, Google Pixel and iPhone 7.

When connected to its included dock, the phone can even act as a PC of sorts, allowing you to crunch numbers, write up documents, or surf the web on a big screen. This is all thanks to Continuum, a Windows 10 Mobile-exclusive feature that blurs the line between phone and mobile computer.

The Elite x3 is also a devilishly snazzy phone – easily the best-looking device available on Microsoft’s mobile platform. Its polished, metal-looking plastic details and 2K AMOLED screen will turn heads, and its build quality leaves little to be desired.

Neonode AirBar Review

More and more laptops come with built-in touch screens, but what if the model you want (or already own) doesn’t have one? The $69 Neonode AirBar is a sleek, innovative device that lets you add affordable, accurate touch-screen capabilities to nearly any laptop. However, the semi-permanent magnets that hold the peripheral in place might give some consumers pause.

Design

The AirBar is a sleek, thin, black bar. It comes in 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch options to fit your display perfectly (I reviewed the 15.6-inch version), and fits unobtrusively against the bezel beneath the screen.

2017 Kymco K-Pipe 125 Review

In case you haven’t heard, the 125cc class of streetbikes is hot. The Honda Grom kicked off the latest craze, which was followed this year by Kawasaki’s Z125 Pro, as well as a few entries from China. However, all but one of the entries have teenie 12-inch wheels, making the bikes feel a little less than full-grown.

So, in steps Kymco with the 2017 K-Pipe 125 and a pair of 17-inch rims, and we’ve gotta wonder if the wheels will make a noticeable difference. Since customers looking at motorcycles in this category are extremely price-focused, the Kymco offers one significant advantage when compared to the Grom: a $1,999 MSRP versus $3,199 (and $2,999 for the Kawi).

Though the K-Pipe is labeled a 125, its single cylinder displaces 123.7cc. The rest of the mill is pretty pedestrian: air-cooled, carbureted, and SOHC with two valves. The transmission does deserve special note, though. First, the shift pattern has neutral at the bottom instead of between first and second gears, as is the case with all other motorcycles in the U.S., resulting in a N-1-2-3-4 shift pattern. Additionally, the shift lever throw is quite long, which translates into riders having to move their left foot twice as far to change gears as on most motorcycles.
