When we talk about the quality of the pictures both the two cameras can deliver then the things we could see is that the resolution as well as the sensor both is same so if one Mark II is producing sharp images then we do expect the same quality from G7 also.
Low pass filter
Both the rivalries are using low pass filter that directly means they will easily capable to eliminate the problem of Moiré by just blurring the things what actually reaches to the sensor. But the biggest drawback that the cameras are carrying is due to implementation of the low pass filter they will unable to gain the details of the subjects.
Now here is the giant apparatus that has been engineered in to the lens design of Olympus 10 II- the 5axis IS to correct for rolling blur that affects both low-light shooting and the horizontal and vertical shift blur that can spoil macro shots. When this device is implemented with the 5-axis IS means that we don’t need the tripod because the camera will truly help our images to get rid of Blur and make the images sharper. The image stabilization of but Panasonic G7 is not mentioned.
The creative 81 AF points of Mark II to quickly and accurately acquire focus on both moving and the subjects rest at static position whereas the Panasonic G7 has only 49 AF points which can’t focus accurately as Mark II.
Continuous shooting speed of Mark II is one fps more than G7 so freezing the fast moving subjects is a bit more comfortable (Mark II has 8fps and G7 has 7fps).
The new 4K video recording option available in G7 allows you to crop individual frames from 4K video footage. This G7 can records stunningly smooth, high-resolution 4K video (3840×2160) at four times the resolution of full-HD but on the other hand you have only option to capture upto full HD in MARK II.
You can go for more shots upto 350 by using G7 BUT 320 shots only in Mark II.
The new Olympus mark II is looking more innovative as comparison to G7 the Mark II has some fabulous specifications including the much needed 5 axis IS and we think 4K video option is only thing that G7 could attract the people but we think people will choose Olympus MaRk II.
